a friend passed me a stack of old surf films transferred to dvd. my new guilty pleasure between sessions is cracking a cold primo and watching some of this classic stuff. case in point, the "stoke" section of bill delaney's Surfers the Movie, Take 2. if you haven't seen this one, do yourself a favor and track it down. if not for the 80s neon, do it for the candid interviews and great film footage. too classic.

frontline docu.
this has nothing to do with surfing but everything to do with what is going on in the world. it's an amazing "frontline" pbs docu. about our current war effort. if anything, check out the first 5 minutes of gripping combat documentary footage by danfung dennis... stunning images & important content, all captured with new hd digital cinema technology.
